After a little help from Macard ('live chat') Tech Support, the product seems to be working Well. I have a 2500 sq ft home with a washer, dryer, and microwave oven located in the center of our floorplan and appliances can
cause a major disruption in Wifi signal. The product enclosed written and/or
online video set-up directions for this unit are quite clear/adequate but I was
still having a problem with set-up and placement to get the unit working
properly. I phoned Macard Tech Support 1-888-# (in Singapore) and received a
recording "we're receiving a high number of calls and we'll call you back
asap". I received multiple callbacks with voice messages from Macard Tech
Support when I was driving or away from home etc. which/when couldn't 'fix my
problem(s)'. I was finally able to 'live chat' (text) with a very helpful Macard
Tech Support lady who was very nice and very patient and helped me resolve my
set-up and unit placement problems/questions. This seems to be a reasonably
priced, good Wifi extender unit but there can be some technical issues with the set-up and placement of the unit for optimal performance and Macard Tech
Support (in Singapore) can be a little 'awkward', especially trying to connect
by telephone and when you are with the unit and have scheduled time to devote
to resolving any 'technical issue(s)'. I would rate overall 4.5 stars (because
of Tech Support) and I would repurchase this same unit, but my experience
was that 'live chat' online with Macard Tech Support worked better (took about
20 min) than (callback) telephone. So far, so good and I am satisfied with this
unit/purchase, I would repurchase, and everything seems to be working well.

This is a very good product; it is very easy to set up. It
definitely has increased the signal strength of my existing WiFi coverage. The
wireless cameras in the yard around my house do not have the dropout or lag
anymore! I am planning to purchase the second one but had a couple of questions
regarding some possible other setup options. The customer service (support)
answered my call and answered my questions in a couple of minutes. Thank you, the
support team! I am placing another order!
My questions and the answers:
1) Can I have another WiFi extender connected to my current router? Yes,
2) Can I use the same name for both extenders? Yes, but to avoid confusion it
is better to give each a different name (Router - plus and Router - plus2 for
example)
Tip from the support team:
The second extender can be connected to the first one to extend the range even
further! Awesome!

Final update, I hope. My card has jumped through hoops to get
me to upgrade my original 1-star rating. I give them huge credit, hence the 4-star rating. I wouldn’t recommend the Cyro 360, but the other model would be
fine.
UPDATE: Since I wrote my one-star, then upgraded to a two-star review, I have
received multiple phone calls, texts, and emails offering help. This week I
received an email from Laura, the CEO again offering many inducements to
change my review. I offered to try again if they would loan me this extender.
So far, no response, but I really appreciate the efforts they are going through,

The key to setting this extender up is the link go. My card. online, which no
browser I have can find. Phones are having a large volume (ya think!?!). Chat
gets no response. We’ll see if Macard does email. More on this to come…
They did call me to help and left a message.
I decided to try chat…. 8 minutes with no response, I decided to try their
online customer support setup process. I got a bot!!! He guided me through the
process, which is not the same as the written instructions, and we hit all the
way to the last step, an email verification. The Bot sent the email….. no
email… I give up. Return started. I hope they use this to improve their
process. If they need to make it idiot-proof, I stand ready to help.
…..i just got the email… about 50 minutes later… still returning it. I did
upgrade them to 2 stars for effort.
